Who would like to attend one this spring?
I plan to do one of the early April dates?
http://beatthetrainindetroit.com/index.asp
They start at 6am @ Historic Fort Wayne, 6325 Jefferson ave w. Detroit 48209
Lets try to get 5-8 guys downtown for fun. Then go out to eat breakfast. If you have never experienced this...it is a MUST. Andy Staub (former TSBer) has created a great group with big smiles.
Thanks to Mr. Miller for the reminder...its kinda like this...with less fixies.

Let see, six am start.
~ 2 hour drive from Bay City
~ half hour to get ready before leaving
I would have to start my morning around 3-3:30 am.
I AM IN!!!
I have been telling Andy for the last four years that I would come down for a ride. It will happen this year. _________________ http://toddshorkey.blogspot.com/ |

Let's see... Brian lives in Hazel Park, a short half-hour drive to the Fort. I say we all crash at his place, so we can get that extra sleep.
Sound good, eh

Hey TSBrs, We are looking forward to our sixth season of Saturday morning rides and are making all the necessary preparations to show off the D the best way possible. By bike. We look forward to seeing all of you guys at least once this year. Todd is right, the special thing about the rides in April is that you are guaranteed a dark start due to sunrise at about 7:30am. Once we are into June and July the sun comes up around 6am anyway. So come early and bring lights. More important, watch the weather. Mother nature can make easy work out of us at times and we don't want to dissapoint anyone.
Most important keep an eye on the Ride announcement forum on the BTT site. We have a different post for each weekly ride so you can let us know to look out for you.
THANKS TP!! ET AL! _________________ Beginners rule the future!

I'm in too. Sounds like a good time. I plan to just come over the night before and sleep in the back seat of TP's truck. Wake me up when we get there. _________________ www.singletrack-minded.blogspot.com |

You guys are all welcome to stay here and the lodging is priced right. I live about 20 mins from the fort and it's a easy drive. I have a 3 bedroom house to myself so plenty of room here. I told my buddy Tim about this and he wants to join in.
Bring a sleeping bag, or air mattress (I got hardwood floors) and your all set.
I could wake up and make a big breakfast before we leave. Pancakes, French Toast.
Shorkey, since you driving the longest distance we will let you cuddle with Chunky Dunker. _________________ Lead, Follow or get the hell out of my way!!!!! |

I planned on doing a few of these this year with Kim and maybe even the girls.
TP, how about soup and a beer when we are done at Honest Johns in the Cass Corridor area? _________________ VIEW VIDEOS by clicking the BLOG link here!
