We are very proud to say this is the 8th full season for the red, white, and black jersey in 2012. What started out as a “just for fun” adventure has blossomed into a full blown group of people who have a desire to make something good happen in their own lives and the people they surround themselves with.
Why the name? Well, after realizing what we were trying to do every weekend …we decided to put a name to the madness. TEAM SANDBAG!
TSB has grown into a known name in the industry. The mountain bike race scene was blasted with 15-20 people per race when we started in 2005 and it was hard not to take notice. We all hit trees, drank a few beers, cried, laughed and made a name for ourselves. Attracting more and more people over the years because of our laid back “fun” approach to living a healthy lifestyle has enabled our squad to reach out to Runners, Hikers, Road Racing Cyclists, Swimmers, Walkers, and even made an impact with the crazies who race Cyclo-Cross.
This year will be filled with just as much excitement if not more…so put your helmet on, lace up your shoes, and hang on!
